Welcome to our Site! Thunder Pups Farm was established in 2004. Recognized by the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. program, we are boutique breeders of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Our purpose is to contribute healthy and strong Cavaliers for Generations.
After over 40 years of fostering and being the furever homes for abused and neglected dogs, we are finding so much joy in having the ability to start puppies out right. We are not a kennell or puppy mill. We will selectively breed to give back to the breed. We breed females from approximately age 2 to 5, and then retire our Mommas to be spade well in time to reduce risk of breast and other cancers. Our dogs are thoroughly genetic and health checked for eyes; heart; hips and patella. Our priorities are Health, Temperament and Breed Standard appearance.
Our dogs are family, they live in our home and hearts and not in an outdoor kennel. They are well socialized to living in the home. We feed only Royal Canin and supplement with multivitamins, probiotics, blueberries, yogurt and occasional AKC treats for training. Only the best for our Cavaliers and Rescue Dogs.

Meet the Pack:
Our first Dam is Isabella Esther of Thunder Pups Farm. She has well researched parentage, we met her parents and grandparents and all are still in excellent health! Isabella has had her genetic and health testing and a four generation AKC Certified Pedigree. Bella has Grand Championship blood lines with many champions! She is a beautiful Black and Tan Cavalier. She has never known a person who did not wish her all the best and give her love and attention. Isabella and Kip are a mated pair and she gave birth to their first litter in June 2024. In November 2022 we welcomed Christopher Robin Mountbatten, 'Kip' to the family! Kip came home in January 2023 from a fantastic four generation AKC Certified Pedigree. He comes from a very fine family lineage of beautiful well bred Rubies! We met Kips parents and grandmother. His family lines are strong and healthy with no eye, ortho or heart issues either. Kip has had his age appropriate genetic and health testing. We knew we had a match made in heaven! Kip has stolen our hearts and become the man of the house.
In October 2023 White Manitou Khloe arrived to Thunder Pups Farm from Hungary. We call her Sweet Bailey. She comes from a European Championship line of beautiful Blenheim Cavaliers fully genetic, health tested with advanced testing for eyes, heart, hips and knees. She is so lovely in every way. Imported breeding dogs come to us via lengthy international air transport. To tolerate this well and with health assurances completed prior to purchase, they are welcomed to the pack at a more mature age than the dogs we purchase in the USA. In order to import a breeding dog, per the laws in Hungary, each young breeding dog must undergo full testing and pass all clearances. Bailey came to us with documentation for her and both her parents:
comprehensive genetic testing,
advanced heart certification with echo results and veterinary cardiology certification,
eye evaluation and veterinary ophthalmology certification,
knee, hip, and patella radiological results and veterinary certifications.
In July 2024 we welcomed Katie Scarlett O'Hara of Thunder Pups Farm! Katie is a beautiful Tri-Colored Cavalier with excellent lineage and Pedigree. As she grows to an adult we plan to obtain all her Health Certifications and testing to ensure she will be well suited for our breeding program.
For now we are just enjoying watching her grow. She is a little spitfire with endless energy. She has come during Bella's weening of her puppies and Isabella is so sweet with tiny Katie. Cavaliers have the biggest hearts tucked away in those tiny fur packages. All LOVE!!! When you have one, you'll know.
